Review of the ASUS GTX 660 DirectCU II TOP card. In terms of clocks, bear in mind that NVIDIA hasn't missed the chance to implement dynamic overclocking into this chip as well, which is the well-known mechanism for increasing performance up to the TDP limit. The nominal clock amounts to 980 MHz, with the maximum boost value set to 1033 MHz. A max value this low probably means that NVIDIA was strictly in favour of sticking to a single 6-pin molex connector for additional power, which is a good thing, as we think that manufacturers have gone a bit too lax in this regard lately. Suffice to remind you of models such as GTX 460 and GTX 560, but also Radeon HD 7870, where leaving out a second molex just wasn't an option.
