MSI GeForce RTX 5060 8GB Gaming OC Review

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 series enters the market: an 8 GB base model priced at 299 USD USD with the RTX 5060 Ti available in 8 GB and 16 GB variants. Although the Ti version debuted in April, logistical considerations deferred the standard 5060 to mid-May. The launch falls just before Computex Taipei. Under NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace-derived GB206 GPU, the GeForce RTX 5060 features 30 active streaming multiprocessors-down from 36 on the Ti-which translates to 3,840 CUDA cores, 120 Tensor cores, 30 RT cores, 120 texture units, and 48 ROPs. Operating frequencies reach up to 2.50 GHz in boost mode. The card employs a single 8 GB GDDR7 memory module on a 128-bit interface. With a Total Graphics Power of 145 W versus the Ti's 180 W, the design accommodates a single 8-pin power connector and in some variants, 6-pin, streamlining partner PCB and cooler designs.
