Gigabyte hosted an exclusive LAN Party in partnership with Canada Computers and the Canadian distributor Supercom a few days ago in Markham for its new line of enthusiast grade G1 Killer gaming motherboards. Expensive hardware - sure, but that didn't stop Gigabyte from giving away a complete G1.Assassin gaming system to one very lucky gamer who attended the free event. All three motherboards are based on the Intel X58 chipset and thus support LGA1366 Intel Core i7 processors with up to 24GB of RAM. What makes these particular motherboards suited to gaming is that each is equipped with an onboard Killer E2100 Dedicated NPUs from Bigfoot Networks.
